Re: Which Airlines are Ordering the Most Commercial Jets?

I don't see Delta on the list. They must be happy with their current fleet.

The project which is slated to commence on January 15, 2024, is part on an exercise to reposition taxiways “Delta” and “Tango”...

Airbus A380 Night Landing at JFK Rwy 22R

Nice video of an A380 landing at JFK at night and taxi to the gate.

The off-set ILS approach to 22R is interesting. I even found the taxi to gate part interesting.

Re: Group Flight Anybody?

I'm not ready to start flying VATSIM again just yet but I voted for trying a group flight. This sounds like fun. I haven't used VATSIM in years but we might be able to use TeamSpeak for voice comms and FSHost for multi-flight again like we used years ago for group flights. But this might not work wi...

Air Force Studies Autonomous Cargo Jets

The Air Force has awarded a contract to Silicon Valley firm Reliable Robotics to study the feasibility of flying its biggest iron autonomously. Lufthansa Wants to Upgrade Their Passenger 747s

Some good news about the B747s for a change: There are only about 40 passenger 747s still flying worldwide, as many airline operators have been retiring the jumbo jet over the last several years. Most airlines just can’t afford it anymore, since newer more fuel-efficient planes are now available. T...

Re: Near-Miss Departing St Louis

... have a near-miss with an American MD-11 departing St Louis and another one on approach to Owensboro with a Mooney M20 ... Poor ATC control ... Nice that there was no midair collisions. The AI traffic on FSX isn't that good. That's one reason why I don't use it or have it greatly turned down.

Last ‘Queen of the Skies’ Rolls Off Line at Boeing

December 6, 2022: The Boeing Company hit a bitter-sweet milestone today: the final 747, number 1,574 rolled out of Boeing’s facility at Snohomish County Airport/Paine Field (KPAE) in Everett, Washington. The 747 has been in production since September 1968. The last 747 has left our Everett factory a...
