Re: Use of 757

I was wondering if the 757 can be flown for SunAir Express routes in place of the 767? I wanted to in stall my FSX Level-D 767 into P3D but read enough to know that there are some problems in doing that. I noticed a 757 for P3D at Just Flight but don't want to buy it if I can't use it. Peter W SAX7...

Re: Repaints for Prepar3D PMDG Aircraft

Hi Dave, I followed your instructions and checked. Everything is as you instructed. I don't know what to do as I have again looked at the instructions and checked them out as well. The PMDG 747 is the only aircraft I couldn't get to display in the select vehicle display. Thank you for the informati...

Re: Repaints for Prepar3D PMDG Aircraft

I was wondering if the repaints for the FSX PMDG aircraft would work for the ones that they have published as being for Prepar3D? I don't have P3D but I'm guessing repaints should work as long as the original PMDG aircraft works. Shouldn't hurt to try. I tried to place this under the Prepar3D topic...

Re: FSX Unexpectly Crashes to Desktop

I am still having crashes to desktop while flying the Majestic from KSEA to KGPI. FSX just stops and then it gets restarted. I installed FSX and then Acceleration. Any suggestions. Did the crash to desktop start after installing the Majestic aircraft? If so, then my guess is the problem is with the...

Re: FSX under Windows 10

New problem. I reinstalled my operating system and then installed all the updates. When I rebooted my system I got a message on the screen that an unauthorized firmware change had been made. The Windows 7 x64 I had installed had worked fine before the updates. I tried again from scratch and got the...

Re: FSX Unexpectly Crashes to Desktop

I was landing at HJKJ and was trying to line up with the ILS. I shut off the auto pilot using keyboard letter Z. I was turning to line up properly and as I was tuning, the FSX Stopped and that was that. Today I have replaced and old keyboard and got a new mouse which came with the keyboard. My last...

Are you using Full-screen mode or Windows mode with FSX? FSX used to CTD sometimes for me when I used Full-screen mode. I have better luck using Windows mode.

How to Uninstall and Reinstall FSX

FSX works better when NOT installed in the default installation directory C:/Program Files or C:/Program Files (x86).

Here is a guild on how to uninstall and reinstall FSX.

I also cleared my cookies on Chrome when I had my issue with the new map. Maybe that is what cleared up my trouble.

Re: New POC Map Types

A few months ago, Aero Planner ceased to exist. They were the provider of the US-based Sectional and IFR map overlays on the POC map, which stopped working when Aero Planner went offline. A new map overlay provider is available. I have updated the POC map to include US-based Sectional, WAC, TAC, IF...

Re: Airport ID

I put a flight plan #5391 (Kosovo to Zurich) and the ID given for Kosovo was BKPR. My FS 2004 showed BKPR as British Columbia Canada. I was able to identify Pristina Intl Apt through the ID LYPR. The rest of the flight plan matched up. Is the BKPR a typo or has the ID been changed to LYPR. Just cur...
