Sorry to hear about Ken. Remember him from when I first started with Sunair.

Re: How to Create a Flight Plan File for MS Flight Sim
I was looking for a substitute for FS Navigator to use in FSX and came across a free program called Plan-G (http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2205.0) and was interested in knowing if anyone had tried it. My one big knock on FSX is it doesn' t work with FS Navigator Al Sax067

Re: Poll: What Is Your Primary Flight Sim for SAX Flights?
I have both FSX and FS9. I use FS9 for Sunair flights mainly because I have the PMDG 737 for it and also FS Navigator neither of which work in FSX. I use FS Navigator for doing flight plans and haven't found a substitute for it in FSX I have no issues with running FSX on my current computer other th...

Thanks Dave that did the trick. I also had trouble installing the PMDG 737 but was able to get it to install by using safe mode.

Active Sky and windows 7
I cannot install Active Sky 6.5 on my computer running windows 7 home premium. The installation seems to be conflicting with a frame work program. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Re: POLL: FSFK Score and Critique
Possibly competition is in the eyes of the the individual. I personally like FSFK for all of the info that it gives on flights by both myself and others, that way I get some ideas on how to be a better sim pilot, and thus enjoy flightsiming more. The touchdown rate may have a bit of competition tied ...

Re: Poll: Accelerated Time Mode Usage
I usually only fly the 2 hour and under flights because 2x and up is discouraged by sunair, and to simulate a long boring flight would not be enjoyable for me. I don't see the difference between putting the sim in autopilot for 4 hours and going to bed and putting the computer in 4x mode and standin...

Pay no attention to all that stuff that Dave Vega just told you. You can still fly it with a joy stick and a reasonably fast computer

Re: Preflight Actions
Dave; I do pretty much the same pre flight routine except I spend very little time on passenger and cargo loading placement. Not to sure exactly how to figure weight and balance on a 737 or even how important it is as long as you don't overload. I know that in the days of prop planes it was crucial ...

They give you a chance to interact with people that are interested and knowledgeable in flightsiming and computing and who are just trying to make it fun and interesting for those who particapate. It is a real time situation that can get a little intense some ti...
