Re: B767

Another thing to check is your weight and balance. If those are out of line you would loose it. I use the program Topcat to do my weights and balance. Very useful and well worth the small price I paid for it. It also has different aircraft it supports including the payware brands. It was originally ...

Re: Preflight Actions

I pretty much do the same each time. I get the weather with ASA. I then run FSBuild and develope my flight plan. Next I look at the charts for the departure and destination and alternate and expected routes in and out. I run TOPCAT and load up passengers and cargo and run the fuel estimation subrout...

Re: Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System

I looked at the Saitek but decided on the Eclipse Yoke from CH. I have a Flight Sim Yoke (USB ) for $50 if anyone is interested. It works great and all the buttons and sliders work but the Eclipse has more buttons for what I wanted so I upgraded.Ken

Re: Non-stop B747 Service from Frankfurt to San Francisco

Dave, going to fly 591 on Sunday and 590 on Monday. Will use the tutorial on Monday to see how it correlates with the flight. Should be interesting. I will have the pdf file on my laptop to view while my two computers running FSX and all the extras keep me going.

Mr T. for yours and others information we moved from Prodigy to CIS because Prodigy was changing their pricing policy. Oh, were those the days. I was 007 and somewhere in my mess of a computer room I bet I can find some old emails. I shall have to look. Ken

Re: Poll: Which Flight Sim Do You Use For SAX Flights Now?

I mostly fly my favorite the PMDG 747-400 and I use it in FSX now exclusively. Since upgrading my video card to a GeForce 9800 GTX with 512 on it and coupled with Alacritypc I have a smooth nice looking sim. I use FS9 for my 737 flights and FSX also for my 767 flights. I mostly fly the 747 routes th...

My preflight goes like this: 1. Print out Sax dispatch form 2. Start ASX for weather (AS9) for FS9 3. Build Flight plan with FSBuild and print off 4. Run ASX route routine 5. Start FSX and load position and aircraft. 6. Start up APU and disconnect Ground Power 7. Preflight Flight deck and initialize...

Guys, you should try this program. I use it now and get an average of 25 to 40 fps with FSX and FS9 and the video is smooth as silk. This program is from Ken Salter and is free. It is simular to FSAutostart but better by far. Here is a link to the download site. Ken http://alacritypc.kensalter.com/d...

In answer to your question I have had the number 007 from the beginning. Jim Swanson gave it to me when we formed Sunair. James Bond never asked me to swap for it and now it is really a moot point. It does seem like he should have it but I really don't think it matters to him. If it did I would not ...
