Updated Aircraft

With the retirement of several airplanes in the fleet I was wondering if there is any plans to add new aircraft. An expansion of the Airbus aircraft would be a nice touch or the newer Boeing 747 or 787 models... Just curious...This airline is still the best out there...Thanks!! jt...

Re: Poll: What Is Your Primary Flight Sim for SAX Flights?

I would like to use FSX, but the only game compatible with Windows 7 is the Gold version...The other two are not compatible. Also the Microsoft Force Feedback stick isn't compatible either...Who could figure Mircrosoft operating systems wouldn't be compatible with their software...

Re: 767

Hey Dave...It wasn't necessarily on the runway. It would collapse just sitting at the gate when I shifted from the cockpit to the exterior shot of the plane. Or if I would taxi to the runway and shifted back and forth it would collapse there as well. The 767 I just downloaded does not bounce like th...

Re: 767

Hey Dave...Thanks for the installation instructions...They worked perfect... I took a short hop from KJFK to KBOS and the 767 was awesome....No collapsing wheels and it did not bounce all over the place...I hope to take it on a longer hop soon if I can ever get away from work...Thanks for all your h...

Re: 767

Awesome Dave...Thanks very much... I was able to get the old 767 from Atlanta to Halifax...Just after setting the parking brake the nose wheel collapsed and my flight was recorded as a crash...aaaawwww....I'll give the new bird a try... jt

767

Has anyone had problems with the nose wheel collapsing on the 767? I have had it happen to me many times. I set the flight up, start the FSFK, go back to the flight and when I switch from the cockpit to the exterior shot of the plane it shakes and the front wheel collapses, which of course resets th...

Re: POLL: FSFK Score and Critique

Having finally hooked into FSFK I must admit I love it...Any daily routine or "rut", profession or "job", ultimately can lead to lackadaisical work habits... My flying habits were effected by our previous recording system (FASCars) as each movement I performed was not recorded, t...

Re: Poll: Accelerated Time Mode Usage

Hi guys...I never use accelerated time when I'm flying. If SunAir is trying to maintain realism in our flights, I don't think it should ever be used. If you don't have the time for a flight, postpone it until you do. Thanks...jt

Descent Rate Descrepencies

I am growing more suspect about the descent rate calculations. I flew flight #596 (OMDB - OPRN) in my trusty B767 on two occasions back to back. I emulated the first flight with the second flight pretty much to a "T". My first descent rate was recorded as -365. The second descent rate was ...

Vertical Landing Speed

Does anyone know at what point the Vertical Landing Speed is measured. Does it begin at initial decent, final approach or somewhere in between. I try to keep my descent rates pretty consistent, but the averages seem to come out all over the charts. One day greaser club the next day big red ugly over...

Re: Suspect Flight Time

Thanks for the input Marty....I used that flight route utilizing the FS Route Finder as required by the #6011 flight plan. I assumed the two would be compatible....What other option should I have used to file the flight plan? Thanks, Jim.
