Brian,
Direct or DCT is used to indicate that a route segment is flown not on an airway, but direct between two route points.
Chris is our expert in this regard. I'm sure he'll jump in and clarify if needed.

If you feel like it, start small. Perhaps just do a hub or all the destinations from a hub. We can add that l...

Brian, Good question. Thought we had posted this one before, but I can't find it. Here's one way, but not the only way. Assume the airline standard is 180lbs/84.6kg body weight, and 45lbs/20.4kg for luggage per each passenger. Compute the passenger weight and distribute in the passenger compartment(...

If you haven't noticed, SunAir Express pilots have flown more hours so far this year than the entire last year.

Boeing 737-200 for SunAir eXpress
Fellow Captains, We may have an upcoming group flight based on a popular video showing an Air New Zealand B737-200 flight. Though you could fly any of our other 737s (737-400, -700), you may want to fly this old thing. She still flyes great. Here some pics for you. At the end, there's a link for you...

Hi Dave ... Take Delta - they fly 777s from Atlanta to Tokyo - longest of long hauls ... The seat of my pants hurts just thinking about this flight. Another way to add would be to introduce the T7 is to use it for existing destinations replacing an equivalent heavy iron. Not hubs have to ha...

Like most of you I loved subLOGIC's ATP. Wish I had a dollar for every hour I spent flying those airplanes. Some years ago I decided to make a flt sim livery commemorating subLOGIC's ATP. Though I can't remember exactly, believe this was for FS2002. Anyway, take a look here: http://www.vegaport.com/...

Coming Soon! New Boeing 737-700
For those of you flying the non-PMDG 737-700, there's a new model coming from Project Open Sky that promises to be better than what we have now. Project Open Sky makes good quality freeware models. We're using their B767-300 for our freeware offering. See the first posting picture here: http://forum...
