the greaser club is nice idea. I also still like the idea of on time, but don't penalize the early ones, only late.

Re: Is it really that bad to come in early?

One thing I remember, after FAA started tracking ontime performance, all the carriers added 20+ minutes to the schedule so they are 'on time' There are several ways to regulate demand/capacity for a given airport. Re: PMDG B737 NG2.0 for FS2004

oh do get it, it flies the same way, the learning curve I think is the Flight Management System, but PMDG has awesome documentation. First couple flights will be painful probably, but worth it!

They make the best addons by far, Level D 767 is also top notch.

Re: How do I get There On Time?

I use Active Sky also - take the time to put in a flight plan - I also use FSNavigator in the flightsim, easy to plot the flight then export to a Flightsim plan, then import to ActiveSky, then you get very good numbers on the winds aloft reference time enroute

Re: Is it really that bad to come in early?

as a real ATC, hit my 20 years btw this weekend  when the fuel prices were outrageous last summer, several commuters really went into cost saving mode. One of them was flying CRJ1 at M0.63 at FL 330 for example to save gas - time didn't matter. I personally fly the Sunair preferred routes a...

MY suggestion would be to create some new routes for the 777 first, then start to retire some 767s .

Nate - also you can put them in like the route program says - 5320N 5310N - the navdata has the fixes programmed for lat/long - check the docs for the other formatting - 45N40 = N45 W140 4540N = N45 W40

or you can type them all out N5300.0/W02000.0

Less than 7 hours, I usually do stuff around the house or yard work, checking in occasionally - more than7 hours I usually do as Dave, overnight with the pause at top of descent or a timer, get up, make coffee, land.
