I also voted "don't care" and like Neil, I'm waiting for AS3; like the play, "Waiting for Godoh." If we retire the MD83, we could always bring it back on another market, like Canada or South America. Isn't it the fashion now to retire and return to the game within a couple of yea...

Can you see your winglets variation now?

How do I activate the winglets on this version?

Thanks,

I've been using AISmooth. This free program will monitor AI traffic around your airport and avoid multiple planes arriving at the same time, simulating traffic separation by sending planes into holding patterns. I haven't been told to go around or had to wait for any AI aircraft since I started usin...

It is exactly as Dave said. Nate, you could use FsRoute and export the route to PMDG. You'll see how the lat long are entered. You can also check the PMDG manual. It's in there. dv

Excellent tutorial Dave! One thing I do is have the spoilers armed on approach as well as the autobrakes. Then on touchdown I bring on the reverse thrust till 80 knots as you stated and I let the auto brakes keep doing their job till 60 knots at which time I start manual braking. This will help kee...

This window of time is given to the flight before departure. This is a way for ATC to control traffic flow. Again, not my area of e...

I think you'll get a variety of responses, from those that sit in front of the monitor for the entire duration without blinking to those that will get up and do other things while the flight takes place. I sometimes will depart before going to bed, fly for a while, and go to bed, get up the next day...

Brian,

Direct or DCT is used to indicate that a route segment is flown not on an airway, but direct between two route points.

Chris is our expert in this regard. I'm sure he'll jump in and clarify if needed.
