Airbus A320 Rating

Post by SAX800 »

Hi,

Reviewing "My Log" in the SAX POC, I noted that in addition to the other entry level aircraft, I've also have been given the A320 Left Seat Rating. I was under the impression that at 50 hrs, pilots would have to qualify by successful completion of an A320 Checkride.

Is my A320 Rating correct or will I need to complete a Checkride? Thanks again for all that you do.
Very respectfully,

Chris,

My mistake. When I welcomed you to SAX I mistakenly said that you were "A320 Left Seat Rated". As a new pilot you are only "Left Seat Rated" for the B190, DH8D, CRJ7, E190 and B737.

After 50 Hours of logged flight time with SAX you will be "Right Seat Rated" and then be able to fly the A320 as a co-pilot. I am sorry about my mistake.
