Guys, you should try this program. I use it now and get an average of 25 to 40 fps with FSX and FS9 and the video is smooth as silk. This program is from Ken Salter and is free. It is simular to FSAutostart but better by far. Here is a link to the download site. Ken

It is indeed a very good utility. It allows you to turn off all the unnecessary background processes, run FS, and restores the processes to their original state. As with anything else, be careful. dv
