SAX MAIL 1992

Post by Rich »

Fellow Captains,

If you're familiar with or have been part of the origin of SunAir Express, these "emails" from 1992 might be very entertaining and informative. In the summer of '92, we decided it would be nice to know a little bit about each other, so created and sent short bios, including one from Jim Swanson

Along with the bios is a letter when Marty Becker was accepted to SunAir Express (07/10/92) and alot more.

Some are still flying with us, some are not, and a few are flying in the heavens.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I did after finding them in a 3-ring binder I stashed away some 20 years ago!

Keep 'em flying.

ps seems my real number was SAX003, so I wasn't that far off.

Fantastic and thanks for sharing this Rich.

It was nice to see the old sign-off format, too. And this helped me to add some missing names and pilot numbers to my master pilot list.

Here are a few more files from '93. Amazing computer technology back then! Al O'Brien had a 286 10Mhz and Kenny Dundon was buying a 14.4 modem. This new data may be helpful to Dave B. with his historic logs.
Who knows what I'll find next!?!?
