Post by Dave Blake »

TAMPA, Florida: October 29, 2006 /Newswire/ --

SunAir Express, the world’s first virtual airline, announced today it is launching cargo service in the Alaska region.

These cargo flights use the new B737-700C aircraft which pilots can acquire from the SunAir Express File Library. There are over 30 new cargo flights that are based out of the San Francisco Hub (KSFO). More flights from other hubs will be added at a later date.

Today’s announcement is part of a series of future product and service enhancements focusing on customer value and convenience that the carrier is launching in 2006 and beyond.

SunAir Express was founded in 1992 as the world's first virtual airline. SunAir Express features jet, commuter and cargo service throughout the world. SkyLink, Inc., its wholly owned subsidiary, offers connections to SunAir Express as well as point-to-point service between select markets on regional jets (CRJ2) and turboprops (B1900) aircraft. Jim by SunAir Express offers all business class service between the U.S. and European markets on BBJ aircraft. All of the SunAir Express flight schedules are available at http://www.sunairexpress.com.

Anyone having trouble finding the new cargo flight's data in the POC, the aircraft all have an N-Number ending with a "C". Example: N411SC

The route map for the SFO Hub Alaska cargo flights has been updated to correct some errors. Check it out at http://www.sunairexpress.com/map_ksfo.html . It's the map at the bottom of the page.
